Vidéo de présentation de Evolution 2018 (Presentation video from Evolution 2018)

Back in August, I had the pleasure of attending and presenting at the "Second Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology" (or, more simply, just "Evolution 2018") in Montpellier. What a great conference! With over 2700 attendees, this was apparently the largest gathering of evolutionary biologists in history. Among many highlights, I was able to spend time with old friends, make some new friends, and learn from many outstanding presentations. PODARCIS team members Fabien Aubret and Antonio Cordero both presented (though on tiger snakes and turtles, respectively). Additionally, I was able to meet Martha Muñoz, Brooke's PhD advisor at Virginia Tech just a few days before her arrival here (see previous post on Brooke Bodensteiner joining team PODARCIS here).

One of the more nifty things the conference did was to record and post all of the talks. So, if you're really keen to see my talk (titled "Physiological plasticity in response to high-altitude hypoxia and the evolutionary potential for upward range expansion in the Common Wall Lizard"), you can view it here:
